If you’ve never been to Carmel Valley Village, you’re in for a big surprise. The whole town is about 4 blocks long but hosts some really awesome eateries! Carmel Valley Village is host to more than 15 wine tasting rooms and growing, as well as food that will knock your socks off. One of our favorite restaurants in the village is Corkscrew Cafe – home to Georis wine tasting room (in the back of the restaurant). Both the restaurant and the wine tasting room have outdoor seating that will transport you to somewhere in Europe for the afternoon or evening. Next door is the Vineyard Bistro with good food as well, but less ambience than the Corkscrew. Around the corner from both of these is Cafe Rustica with great French/Italian/California Fusion fare. Down the street is also Thai Village and Trailside Cafe. All of this is just in a 2 block radius and that doesn’t even include the 6 wine tasting rooms on those two blocks!
Great breakfast served at the Wild Goose Cafe or Lokal, who also does an awesome lunch and dinner. So lucky for you, you don’t have to drive far for great food and wine!
So don’t just check out our village, check out our “Area Restaurant” page to find a great place to eat and drink, then enjoy the whole day!
Please be advised that Trailside Cafe has mediocre food and horrible service, so definitely not on our recommended list.
